When we got to the field we were suprised how many people showed up concidering how cold it was that day. The first 1/2 of the first game did'nt go so well. Our origonal plan went south because most of our team was still at the parking lot getting their gear ready. The second half went very good. We managed to hold down the enemy team with enough fire to safty kill them with out having to use close range combat.
The rest of the day was plauged with problems. For starters, our DMR's M14 went down due to a broken piston. Our third Rifle Men's Ak47 was out of decomissioned because his battery wires snapped. My M16 had to be put away because my battery died. That goes with out saying about all the problems we had during the games.
Not suprisingly there were several players through out the day that were not calling their hits. They were mostly moderate players who I have delt with in the past at the field. Even though i told the reffs about this, they sill didnt call their hits. There was nothing more I could do about this so I decided to ignore it for the rest of the day.
By far the best game of the whole day was the fifth game. It was are greatest victory due to the fact that we finally got the other team to call their hits. On top of that, I got my longest kill streak at five kills in a row.
One of the things I didnt like about that day was the fact that were more kids there than I would have liked. When I say that, I mean that there were too many people there that were the minimum age (12 yrs). For the second half of the day, my team got stuck with mostly kids. That caused our team to loose for the rest fo the day due lack of expirence.
All in all it was a realtily good day. It could have been better. But considering that this was the first time in a while that our whole team was there, I couldnt have asked for a better day.
